  Lyndsay Budgell RMT

Lyndsay is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist who began her training at Ontario College of Health and Technology where she developed her skills in orthopedic assessments, myofascial release, joint play, deep tissue massage, and hydrotherapy. Lyndsay is comfortable treating a variety of every day aches and pains as well as sport-training injuries. She knows massage therapy plays an important role in attaining and maintaining good quality of  life in every day activities. She also understands the importance of proper training techniques as well as injury prevention, rehabilitation, and strengthening through massage therapy, as she has experienced it all first hand.

Outside of the clinic Lyndsay is an avid athlete, participating in sports such as softball and CrossFit. She has training in Krav Maga and she currently holds a title of “Candidate Master of Sport” for competitive Kettlebell lifting as well as achieved several metals in her lifting career. Lyndsay is passionate about massage therapy and the holistic benefits it has on athletes in the progression of their training and on people in everyday life. She looks forward to expanding her skills and gaining more hands on experience with complimentary modalities to massage.

   Lyndsy Shouldice RMT

Originally from Toronto, Lyndsy graduated from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in 1999. Over the course of her career, Lyndsy has had the opportunity to work in a variety of health care settings. This includes Chiropractic and Physiotherapy offices as well as Spa and Wellness Centers. Through these experiences, she has had a unique understanding of not only the therapeutic treatment needed to help her clients recover from motor vehicle accidents (MVAs) and sport injuries but also a gentle relaxation approach to treating stress and anxiety.

Lyndsy appreciates and enjoys a balance of work and play. When away from her treatment room, she is spending time with her family and keeping active at the gym.  She believes that the many benefits of Massage work hand in hand with other health care professionals and she is thrilled to be a part of your Shallow Lake Health Team!
